Question: Could you please give me some advice for removing spots on my stainless steel appliances? – Pat Howe
Answer: Sure Pat. For tough spots try glass cleaner, ammonia, or rubbing alcohol. You can also use vinegar or olive oil on a soft cloth (apply sparingly). Some people even swear by club soda to clean stainless steel--it's especially effective in getting rid of heat stains. Whatever you use, follow the grain of the stainless steel during washing and drying and be sure to apply plain water afterward and wipe dry.
